The
CHIKARA NYC Bus Trip Initative is proud to announce two exciting excursions
over the next two months…
CHIKARA
presents...
CIBERNETICO
INCREIBLE @ The (ECW) Arena in Philadelphia, PA
SUNDAY
– October 18th, 2009 – 4 pm
featuring
7 epic bouts, including the 6th annual Torneo Cibernetico!!!
The
Torneo Cibernetico, a lucha (and now CHIKARA) tradition, is the ultimate
in multi-man mayhem. Two teams of 8 square off in a Survivor Series-style
elimination tag match... with a catch: partners can only tag out in
a designated batting order. This means that #1 can only tag #2, #2 to
#3, and so forth an so on. When only one team is left standing, the
match then becomes an every-man-man-for-himself free-for-all (ie. Japanese
battle royale), until one participant is left standing, thus becoming
the winner of Torneo Cibernetico!
This year presents an added twist as it will be CHIKARA's first Cibernetico
"Increible"... meaning that regular tag team partners will
be split up and put onto opposite teams!!! Rudo could face rudo, tecnico
could face tecnico, and partner will inevitably face partner. And it's
all coming at ya LIVE (should you be brave enough to board our bus)
this Fall!!!
Bus
departs NYC at 12:30 pm (please arrive by 12 noon).
**Meeting for pick-up on 9th Avenue between 42nd & 43rd Streets,
in front of Starbucks, a block away from Port Authority.**
Bus arrives back in NYC by 10:00 pm that same evening.
Dragon
Gate USA presents...
Open
the Freedom Gate @ The (ECW) Arena in Philadelphia, PA
SATURDAY
– November 28th, 2009 – 8 pm
featuring
a one night tournament to determine the first DGUSA Champion!!!
The
championship will be known as the Open The Freedom Gate Title. The first
half of the card will feature four matches. The winners will advance
to the elimination match main event. The lone survivor will be the first
champ. There will also be non-tournament matches. Keep checking DGUSA.tv
for the latest info and talent announcements. History will be made again
in Philadelphia as the DGUSA road to the title happens in one night
on November 28th.
Bus
departs NYC at 2:30 pm (please arrive by 2:00).
**Meeting for pick-up on 9th Avenue between 42nd & 43rd Streets,
in front of Starbucks, a block away from Port Authority.**
Bus arrives back in NYC by 2:00 am that same evening.
